Softball Recap: Fort Bend Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Fort Bend Christian Academy lost against Lutheran South Academy on April 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles lost 16-3 to the Pioneers.

Fort Bend Christian Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11-1 record this season. As for Lutheran South Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

Fort Bend Christian Academy and Lutheran South Academy could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Eagles (ranked 368th) will meet St. Agnes Academy (ranked 46th) at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lutheran South Academy will challenge HCYA at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (360 vs. 122).
