Football Recap: Merritt Island Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Merritt Island can now relate to. They lost 35-14 to the Eau Gallie Commodores on Friday. The Mustangs have struggled against the Commodores recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Merritt Island's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Eau Gallie, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Merritt Island does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eau Gallie, they will face off against Bishop Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
