Basketball Recap: Delta Charter's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Delta Charter won the last time they faced Tioga and things went their way on Thursday too. The Delta Charter Dragons took down the Tioga Timberwolves 63-46. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Dragons' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Leading Delta Charter to victory were Christopher Valencia and Jaylen West. Valencia went 8 of 11 on his way to 21 points, while West almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Jayden Walker, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Delta Charter was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Delta Charter moved to 3-13 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Tioga, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
