Soccer Recap: North Fort Myers Comes Up Short

North Fort Myers lost against Lely back in December of 2014 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. 2025 welcomed the North Fort Myers Red Knights with a 6-0 loss courtesy of the Lely Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Red Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 414th, while the Trojans are ranked 114th).

This is the second loss in a row for North Fort Myers and nudges their season record down to 3-10-3. As for Lely, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-4-3 record this season.

North Fort Myers has already played their next game, an 8-0 loss against Golden Gate on the 3rd. As for Lely, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Charlotte on the 3rd.
