Tanner Ivey and Ben Richards provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Priceville. The longest such play in 4A Region 8 this season, the connection resulted in 79 yards.
Haleyville's Dillon Posey rumbled for the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against the Bulldogs last week. Posey scampered for 61 yards on the play and finished with 62 on the day as his team beat Priceville.
Haleyville's Ivey and Heath Self have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Ivey has thrown for 1547 yards this season, while Self has 30 catches for 316 yards. West Limestone's Dillon Miller leads the league in rushing yards with 406.
Rogers moved up to 172 from 198 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 4A Region 8. The Pirates climbed the ranks as a result of defeating the Wildcats 21-19.
