Softball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Keller's 14th in Last 15 Outings

Keller had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Frenship Tigers on Friday. Considering the Indians have won 13 matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kaiya Fabela was incredible, firing off two home runs while going 4-for-4. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenna Jackson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Keller is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-7-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Frenship, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 24-5.

Looking ahead, Keller will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Marcus at 7:00 p.m. The Marauders will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. Frenship does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
