Softball Recap: Warsaw Tigers vs. Columbia City Eagles
Warsaw lost against Columbia City back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Eagles, falling 20-5. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Raegan Robinson was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double was her first of the season.
Warsaw's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Columbia City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warsaw will head out to face off against Goshen at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The RedHawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed nine runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Columbia City, they will head out on the road to challenge Bremen at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
