Volleyball Recap: Victory Prep Academy Comes Up Short

Victory Prep Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Mile High Academy Mustangs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-8.

Eden Jaklich was the offensive standout of the contest as she had five digs and two aces. Those two aces gave her a new career-high.

Victory Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Mile High Academy, they pushed their record up to 12-10 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Victory Prep Academy will host Front Range Baptist at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Mile High Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
