Volleyball Recap: Hermann Finds Home Court Redemption Against New Haven

There's no place like home for Hermann, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the New Haven Shamrocks 3-0 on Tuesday. The Bearcats not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hermann took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-7.

Hermann found their leader in freshman Brynlee Ash, who had four digs and four aces. Hannah Epple also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Hermann was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Hermann pushed their record up to 8-7-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for New Haven, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13-2.

Looking ahead, Hermann will square off against St. Clair at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Haven, they are taking a road trip to challenge Sullivan at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
