Baseball Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Smith-Cotton Tigers.

Jackson now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Smith-Cotton, they moved to 11-9 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson will face off against Marion at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Smith-Cotton, they will square off against Jefferson City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
