Preview: Legacy Charter Eagles vs. Moore Haven Terriers
The Legacy Charter Eagles will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Moore Haven Terriers at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
With a playoff game on the line, Legacy Charter rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They breezed by the Explorers at home to the tune of 71-30. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 53-18.
Maven Marrero was nothing short of spectacular: he scored 22 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kyle James, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Moore Haven didn't have too much trouble with Oasis Christian at home on Tuesday as they won 48-30.
Legacy Charter has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Moore Haven, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6.
