Miami Valley Christian Academy came tearing into Thursday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Norwood Indians by a score of 4-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-6 two weeks ago.

Max Simon was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Miami Valley Christian Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Norwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
