Basketball Game Preview: Chanhassen Storm vs. Rogers Royals

The Chanhassen Storm and the Rogers Royals will round out the year against one another at at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Chanhassen's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Last Saturday, in a tight match that could have gone either way, Chanhassen made off with a 57-56 win over Blaine.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rogers). They blew past Sauk Rapids-Rice, posting a 105-24 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Chanhassen is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Rogers, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Everything came up roses for Chanhassen against Rogers when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as the team secured a 69-38 win. Does Chanhassen have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rogers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
