Basketball Recap: Lakeland Christian's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Lakeland Christian needed a changed in momentum after dropping ten straight games and they got it from DJ Howard. Everything went the Lakeland Christian Vikings' way against the All Saints' Academy Saints on Tuesday as the Lakeland Christian Vikings made off with a 49-29 victory thanks in part to Howard, who went 6 for 15 on his way to 15 points. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

All Saints' Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Gall, who posted seven points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Matthews, who put up six points.

Lakeland Christian's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-12. As for All Saints' Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Lakeland Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 80-66 loss against New Dimensions on the 9th. As for All Saints' Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 39-32 victory against Ridgeview Global Studies Academy on the 9th.
