Baseball Game Preview: Paraclete Spirits vs. Serra Cavaliers

The Paraclete Spirits are taking a road trip to take on the Serra Cavaliers at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.

Paraclete took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 7-1 margin over Serra. That looming 7-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Spirits yet this season.

Jacob Draper tossed a big game, striking out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Julian Trejo, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Another player making a difference was Noah Schneir, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
