Football Recap: Peddie Comes Up Short on the Road Against Immaculata

Peddie had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 45-33 to the Immaculata Spartans on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Loss or not, Peddie got some senior leadership from Joey Gaston and Jeremiah Davis. Gaston gained 327 total yards and a touchdown, while Davis gained 245 total yards and two touchdowns. Davis' longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

Daysir Spille went supernova For Immaculata., rushing for 297 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. Brian Cilento was another major influence, as he rushed for 57 yards and ran in a TD.

Immaculata has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Peddie wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 29-13 defeat against Wyoming Seminary College Prep on the 13th. As for Immaculata, they have also already played their next contest, a 56-14 win against St. Francis Prep on the 12th.
