Volleyball Recap: Walsenburg Takes a Loss

Walsenburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montbello Warriors.

Walsenburg may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 18 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18.

Walsenburg's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Montbello, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Walsenburg will take on Primero at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Montbello, they will be taking part in a tournament against La Junta at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
