Rock Bridge came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Nixa Eagles, falling 3-0. The Bruins' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-14.

Rock Bridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Nixa, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Rock Bridge and Nixa will both be playing Lee's Summit the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Bruins will head out to face them at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
