It was a good run, but Middle Park unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Buena Vista Demons by a score of 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The 2-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Middle Park lost were decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 26-24, 10-25, 15-13.

Peyton Fosha paced Middle Park's offense, picking up nine kills. Fosha got some help from Laura Bell and her 20 assists. Fosha was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Middle Park's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Buena Vista, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4.

Middle Park wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Cedaredge on the 1st. Buena Vista does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
