Softball Recap: Chicopee Comp Takes a Loss

Chicopee Comp lost against Drury back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Colts lost 20-1 to the Blue Devils. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chicopee Comp saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ari Chagnon, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Chicopee Comp's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Drury, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-4.

Coming up, Chicopee Comp will square off against Mount Everett Regional at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Drury will be paying especially close attention to the Colts' matchup: after the Colts face off against the Eagles, they'll take on Drury again at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
