Bishop had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Francis Parker Lancers 10-2. Considering the Knights have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Clyde Kates made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Henry Armstrong and Ian Browne did most of the damage at the plate: Armstrong went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI, while Browne went 1-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. That's the most RBI Armstrong has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Alex Moreno, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Bishop's lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Bishop's record now sits at 16-8-1. As for Francis Parker, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-16-1.

Bishop's has already played their next game, a 7-2 defeat against Santa Fe Christian on the 12th. As for Francis Parker, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Classical Academy on the 12th.
