 The Whitney Young Dolphins will head out on the road to  take on  the Loyola Academy Ramblers at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Whitney Young has four straight  victories, Loyola Academy has five straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Whitney Young gave their fans yet another huge  win on Thursday. They put the hurt on Hancock with a sharp  12-2 victory.
  Kate Coonan was  incredible,  scoring four  runs while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Natalie Nieves, who  went 3-for-4 with three  doubles, two  runs,  and  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Loyola Academy came up short against St. Laurence on Thursday and fell  7-3.
 Loyola Academy also got a good showing from  Mary McQuillen, who   pitched 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (she also didn't allow any  walks).
 On the hitting side,  Rosie Kerrigan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI and a  triple.
 Whitney Young's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 9-5. As for Loyola Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
Loyola Academy's pitching crew has a tough task ahead of them:  Whitney Young has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .462. It's a different story for Loyola Academy, though, as  they've  only  averaged .343. Will they be able to contain Whitney Young's hitters?
