Soccer Game Preview: Lopez vs. Sultan

The Lopez Lobos will face off against the Sultan Turks at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Lopez is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Orcas Island on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Lopez considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, Sultan kept a clean sheet against Auburn Adventist on Thursday. They blew past the Falcons 6-0. That six goal margin sets a new team best for Sultan this season.

Lopez's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Sultan, their win bumped their record up to 3-8-2.

Lopez was able to grind out a solid victory over Sultan when the teams last played back in September, winning 2-0. Do the Lobos have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Turks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
