Volleyball Game Preview: Reagan Raiders vs. R.J. Reynolds Demons + How To Watch

Reagan is a perfect 10-0 against R.J. Reynolds since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Raiders will look to defend their home court against the Demons at 6:15 p.m. Reagan is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Reagan is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since October 31, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to Marvin Ridge. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Raiders haven't been shut out since back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 25-13.

Despite the defeat, Reagan saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brielynd Riddle had 17 digs and three assists. Riddle has been hot, having posted 17 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Meanwhile, R.J. Reynolds can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They came out on top against Parkland by a score of 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16, 19-25, 25-14.

Reagan's loss dropped their record down to 20-7. As for R.J. Reynolds, their win bumped their record up to 9-13.

Everything went Reagan's way against R.J. Reynolds in their previous meeting on September 4th, as Reagan made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Demons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
