The Oakcrest Chargers are taking a road trip to take on the Trinity Christian Gryphons at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Oakcrest's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Tuesday. Everything went their way against Trinity at Meadow View as they made off with a 5-0 victory. The win continues a trend for Oakcrest in their matchups with Trinity at Meadow View: they've now won four in a row.

Oakcrest hit Trinity at Meadow View with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ana Marie Diaz-Bonilla (2), Clare Sypal, Amal Mohammed, and Emily Mochen.

Meanwhile, Trinity Christian put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their undefeated season alive. They blew past Highland 3-0. Given Trinity Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 12th, while Highland are ranked 68th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Oakcrest pushed their record up to 5-3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three contests. As for Trinity Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0-2.
