Basketball Recap: Minisink Valley Takes a Loss

Minisink Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 71-55 to the Port Jervis Raiders. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Minisink Valley's record now sits at 0-6. As for Port Jervis, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3.

Minisink Valley will host Goshen Central at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Port Jervis, they are taking a road trip to take on Saugerties at 5:45 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
