After both having extra time off, the Magnolia Science Academy Pirates and the Calvary Chapel Grizzlies will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Magnolia Science Academy is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Magnolia Science Academy came up short against San Gabriel Academy and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 21-25, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Calvary Chapel suffered their biggest defeat since September 3, 2024 last Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Webb.

While Calvary Chapel was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 25-18.

Magnolia Science Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Calvary Chapel, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
