Basketball Recap: Chesterton Academy Takes a Loss

Chesterton Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt an 80-36 defeat at the hands of the Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Resorters.

Chesterton Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-6.

Chesterton Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Faith Christian at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Faith Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games. As for Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, they will face off against Cedar Grove-Belgium at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Grove-Belgium knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 matches -- so hopefully Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah likes a good challenge.
