Basketball Game Preview: Peebles Indians vs. Georgetown G-Men

Having just played yesterday, the Peebles Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Georgetown G-Men at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Peebles and nine for Georgetown.

On Friday, Peebles was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 47-46 to Lynchburg-Clay.

Meanwhile, Georgetown came up short against East Clinton on Wednesday and fell 61-50.

Georgetown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Peebles, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Peebles came up short against Georgetown in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 41-33. Can Peebles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
