It was a proper cat-fight when Clinton challenged Smithton on Saturday. The Cardinals walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tigers. The Cardinals were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Tigers, so the Cardinals were just returning the favor.

Audrey McCoy paced Clinton's offense, picking up five kills. McCoy got some help from Atley Patrick and her 13 assists. Brooklyn Johnson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Clinton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10-4 record this season. As for Smithton, their loss dropped their record down to 11-16-2.

Clinton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Lakeland on the 18th. As for Smithton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Concordia on the 18th.
