Baseball Recap: Bald Eagle Area Takes a Loss

Bald Eagle Area was the 10-1 winner over Huntingdon when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Bald Eagle Area took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Huntingdon on Thursday. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Isaac Johnson was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Bald Eagle Area's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Huntingdon, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Bald Eagle Area will head out to take on Mount Union at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Bald Eagle Area's pitchers better be ready for this one: Mount Union has averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season. As for Huntingdon, they will welcome Bellefonte at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
