North Harrison and Pattonsburg are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Shamrocks will venture away from home to square off against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. North Harrison is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, North Harrison came up short against Princeton and fell 7-2.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Pattonsburg ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over Plattsburg.

Camden Griffith was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Pattonsburg is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-3 otherwise. Griffith was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Landon Preston, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Drayson McCrary also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

North Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Pattonsburg, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

North Harrison might still be hurting after the 19-9 defeat they got from Pattonsburg in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Shamrocks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
