Baseball Preview: Delaware Valley Warriors vs. Scranton Knights        
        
		
            The Delaware Valley Warriors will head out to  face off against the Scranton Knights  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Delaware Valley will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
On Friday, Delaware Valley was able to grind out a solid  win over Wallenpaupack Area, taking the game  8-4.

 Tim Jason was a  major factor no matter where he played. He  pitched seven innings while giving up  four earned runs off   six  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  doubles and one  run. Those  three  hits gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news, Delaware Valley let  Londyn Hernandez and  Frank Pedone run wild. Hernandez  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI, while  Pedone  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. That's the most  RBI  Pedone has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was  Liam Onofry, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  double.
 Delaware Valley  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least nine  hits in three consecutive  matches.
Meanwhile, Scranton came up short against Valley View on Wednesday and fell  8-4.
  Joe McIntyre was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double. That  double marked the first that  he has  hit this season.
 The  victory  got Delaware Valley back to even at 6-6. As for Scranton, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
 Delaware Valley couldn't quite finish off Scranton in their previous matchup  back in April and fell  8-6. Can the Warriors avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
