While Phelps put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Harlan. The Hornets took their match with ease, bagging a 40-0 victory over the Green Dragons. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Hornets just coasted through the last quarter.

Phelps' win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1. As for Harlan, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Phelps will venture away from home to face off against Knott County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will need to watch out since the Patriots have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Harlan, they will head out on the road to challenge Berea at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
