North Platte is 9-1 against Lexington since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. North Platte will be playing in front of their home fans against Lexington at 5:00 p.m. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

While North Platte's win against Grand Island wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. North Platte's defense stepped up to hand Grand Island a 1-0 shutout on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for North Platte in their matchups with Grand Island: they've now won five in a row.

North Platte's one-goal win came courtesy of Abby Kaminski, which was the first she's scored this season.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Lexington and Hastings meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. Lexington came out on top in a nail-biter against Hastings, sneaking past 2-1.

The win got Lexington back to even at 2-2. As for North Platte, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.

North Platte took their win against Lexington in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0. Will North Platte repeat their success, or does Lexington has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
