St. Thomas More won the last time they faced Opelousas Catholic and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cougars blew past the Vikings 16-5. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by seven runs or more this season.

St. Thomas More has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Opelousas Catholic, they moved to 13-10 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, St. Thomas More will square off against Southside at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Opelousas Catholic, they will challenge Loreauville at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
