Metrolina Christian Academy entered their tilt with Hickory Grove Christian on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18, 25-14.

Metrolina Christian Academy now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Hickory Grove Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Metrolina Christian Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Concord Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Hickory Grove Christian will take on rival Westminster Catawba Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
