Basketball Recap: Lee County Takes a Loss

Lee County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Southern Lee Cavaliers and fell 73-38. The game marked the Yellow Jackets' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Lee County's loss came despite strong showings from Nick Farrow and Adam Mclean. Farrow posted 11 points, while Mclean had eight points and six boards. Brayden Houchins was another key player, putting up four points.

Lee County's record is now 6-8. As for Southern Lee, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Lee County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-67 win against Jack Britt on the 18th. Southern Lee has also already played their next match, a 55-42 victory against West Cabarrus on the 18th.
