Football Recap: Scappoose Skates Past Gladstone/Riverdale with Ease

Scappoose never let their opponents score on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 40-0 win over Gladstone/Riverdale. The Indians' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Scappoose was led to victory by Will Kessi and Elijah Greenan Biggs. Kessi threw for 177 yards and one TD on only 12 passes, while Greenan Biggs rushed for 13 yards and a pair of scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Scappoose was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 347 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
