Softball Recap: Barnesville Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Barnesville lost to Bellaire back in April of 2015, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Shamrocks came out on top against the Big Reds by a score of 9-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Shamrocks.

Barnesville's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. As for Bellaire, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Barnesville is taking a road trip to challenge Union Local at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bellaire will be paying especially close attention to the Shamrocks' contest: after the Shamrocks faces off against the Jets, they'll take on Bellaire again at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
