Recap: Cleveland Central Wolves vs. Yazoo City Indians
The Cleveland Central Wolves won the last time they faced the Yazoo City Indians, and things went their way on Thursday too. Cleveland Central came out on top against Yazoo City by a score of 27-14. Given Cleveland Central's advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi football rankings (they are ranked 57th, while Yazoo City is ranked 224th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cleveland Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trevion Stokes, who gained 75 total yards and a touchdown.
Cleveland Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Yazoo City, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Cleveland Central will head out on the road to face off against Clarksdale at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Clarksdale has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 108 points over their last three matchups. Yazoo City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
