Baseball Recap: Greenville Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Greenville can now relate to. They lost 17-0 to the Lafayette Commodores on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Commodores: they've now lost eight in a row.

Greenville's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Lafayette, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 21-8.

As of now, neither Greenville nor the Commodores have any future games scheduled.
