Recap: Superior Bobcats vs. Lincoln County Lions
The Superior Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 61-30 loss at the hands of Lincoln County. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Superior of the 70-57 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Lincoln County was led to victory by Brynn Miller and Dylan Sharp. Miller scored eight points along with eight rebounds and six assists, while Sharp scored 20 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sharp has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kara Stanger, who scored eight points along with three blocks and two steals.
Superior's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lincoln County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Superior will take on the Blackhawks at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lincoln County, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Blue Hawks at 5:00 p.m.
