Softball Recap: Forest Takes a Loss

If Forest was feeling good fresh off their 23-5 takedown of Leake County last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Forest Bearcats lost 17-4 to the Scott Central Rebels on Saturday. The matchup marked the Bearcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Forest's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Scott Central, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Forest wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-0 loss against Lake on the 1st. As for Scott Central, they have also already played their next game, a 17-5 win against Forest on the 1st.
