Baseball Recap: Mt. Spokane's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Mt. Spokane proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by eight) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cheney Blackhawks, sneaking past 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since April 9, 2024.

The victory (which was Mt. Spokane's fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cheney, they dropped their record down to 5-9 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
