Manteno has gone 9-1 against Lisle recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Monday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions  at 4:30  p.m. Manteno's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3  runs per game  this season, so Lisle's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Manteno couldn't beat Homewood-Flossmoor  on Wednesday even though they stacked six runs on them in the seventh inning. The Panthers fell just short of the Vikings by a score of  8-7.
Meanwhile, Lisle can  bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Westmont  a   15-0 shutout. The Lions' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last five games.
  Madysen Cole was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with two  triples, four  RBI,  and one  run. Those  two  triples gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  McKenna Riley, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Manteno's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Lisle, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
 Manteno took their  victory against Lisle  when the teams last played  back in April of 2024 by a conclusive  11-0 score. Do  the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
