Hilliard Davidson is 9-0 against Central Crossing since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Hilliard Davidson Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Central Crossing Comets at 7:00 p.m. Hilliard Davidson is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Hilliard Davidson is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Dublin Scioto on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. 2025 welcomed Hilliard Davidson with a 58-35 loss courtesy of Dublin Scioto.

While Central Crossing didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Heath by a score of 50-37 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Comets.

Hilliard Davidson better keep an eye on Savannah Hamilton. She was instrumental in Central Crossing's win, going 10 for 16 on her way to 25 points in addition to eight rebounds and six steals. That's the most points Hamilton has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Cordelia Watkins, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.

Central Crossing smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in ten consecutive games.

Central Crossing's record now sits at 6-4. As for Hilliard Davidson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Hilliard Davidson beat Central Crossing 46-36 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hilliard Davidson since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
