Veterans had won two straight games and Grace Lamontagne did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Warhawks came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Northside Patriots for which the team can thank Lamontagne, who had 14 assists and 11 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Veterans had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 27-25, 15-13.

Northside's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mckenzie Durbin, who had 20 digs and two aces.
