Baseball Recap: Tri-Valley Vikings vs. Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs

Tri-Valley took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Mahomet-Seymour, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Vikings came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs on Thursday, sneaking past 4-3. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 13-5 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Tri-Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Filarski, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double. Ethan Moore was another, getting on base in both of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
