Soccer Game Preview: St. Patrick-St. Vincent vs. Vallejo

St. Patrick-St. Vincent is 0-5 against Vallejo since December of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. The St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins are taking a road trip to square off against the Vallejo Redhawks at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, St. Patrick-St. Vincent was able to grind out a solid win over Swett, taking the game 3-1.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent hit Swett with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kevent Meraz, Diego Rubalcaba, and Yahir Cervantes.

Meanwhile, Vallejo made easy work of Hercules on Tuesday and carried off a 5-2 victory. Considering the Redhawks' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The win got St. Patrick-St. Vincent back to even at 2-2. As for Vallejo, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4-1.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent suffered a grim 9-0 defeat to Vallejo in their previous meeting back in February of 2020. Can St. Patrick-St. Vincent avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
